I do light jogging (7min/1km), stretching, variants of push ups, squats, climb stairs, some calisthenics

Purpose is for general health, mobility and some strength nia

I'm planning to get a coach to help me with gym training. Just gonna book one to two sessions to teach me how to use the gym equipments. From then on I will do on my own liao.

Got ah recently went to run. Last time i pull up gold one now can only do 4.. not lying wor.

Last time no need to train can do 12 or at least 10. 3 yrs ago can do 8 or so.

Now left with 4 liao. 5th time must swing. Knn

I watched Physical 100 season 2 many of them do pull ups also kick swing but still counted knn

Same here. I don't wanna push that hard also. I am super injury prone, especially for my age.

I think I became really susceptible to injuries ever since I got my slip disc at 24 years old :(

This shouldn't be counted. I mean technically some swinging from natural momentum is counted for IPPT but definitely not kicking/kipping.

Still, I realized that the natural swinging hurts my shoulders, so I decided to sacrifice the number of reps in order to ensure that my pull ups are stricter.

Quality over quantity! You did the right thing

I also heck care about quantity or timing. Just slowly do and jog. I also dun post on social media or strava etc

Lol i still post on social media and strava for my runs, just to make myself feel better.

Pullups idk how to post on social media also. If you are filming yourself, you probably need to film at a good angle in order to show how strict your pullups are anyway.

ya good call bro. i used to train hard when i was younger. then i realise as i get older that it is quite pointless, the risk and rewards. Personal best, imo, should only be pursued if you are young and have all your joints in good health.

Just not worth it unless you are a professional athlete.

now just try to maintain a certain level of strength, health and physique. enough.

Ya they not standard one. But got those youtube record ones mostly still got some standard...

Some do a few thousands in 24 hrs to break world record. That one tbh even if not standard can give face la... siao eh few thousands.. im thinking if i rly train like them for 7-10 mths seriously will i be able to hit 1k in 24 hrs or not

Current record i think is 8k over 24 hours
