If policy changes then no choices.

Just like last time u can buy private property many many and still hold onto hdb.

Then suddenly policy changes now cannot own private if u want hdb

all along the sequence need to be correct
buy hdb first then buy private is can

if buy private first then cannot buy hdb.. rast time need to dispose private then can buyed liao.. but now they penalty make them wait few years after selling then can buy hdb

Last time my ah mah ah pah I still yang chewren time buy a few landed property then 1 shophouse also we go there live cos they want do biz in shophouse. Then subsequently buyed a hdb maisonette in bedok there when it 1st came out.

those pioneer gen work hardest, merdeka got help a bit but generally also coasting along, then from then on until say 1975 or 1979 quite lucky if get married or at least buy property........... can own 2 properties etc

Your nephew 90 yo ah. My cousin 55 he alr bought thru that scheme long ago. Even before that i think it was announced. I think he bought in 2008 or sth.
