Actually I talk about all these is coz is part of my retirement plan... retire here or Jalan Besar or Lavender all quite prime area and easy access to everywhr

then rent out either one, or enbloc both then i will do better in terms of money liao

but dont think will be so lucky

my plan is if lucky enough can keep both flats then enbloc both at the same time i upgrade both at the same time to 4 room by say, paying 200k or what

then hoseh liao

oh i used to stay marine crescent, my grandparents had a place in marine drive (i grew up there)

i heard the marine crescent side, the blks behind Tao Nan going to kenna enbloc by those kopitiam uncles

i have a church friend, his mum stays at tanglin halt area. old 3 room flat there, kenna SERS some time back. they were given a choice of new BTOs around that area. they took a 4 room telok blangah. dunno how come didn't need to top up cash also. damn lucky. now MOP finishing, he say if sell, jitao can let go for almost 1mil. quite crazy.

the riverside living is nice on paper, they now build underground pass for people to run, u know right? the bridge there. as if you run every day. what is more impt? access to transport and food than running mah, right?

but if relocate there, damn knn one u know what i mean, i still must take 1 bus  stop and cross the road from NTUC there.

Not here not there, go Kallang MRT also must take bus or walk 15min

then build bus stop across, i still need to cross road to take bus to go geylang bahru MRT


if u are me u will feel very kum lan right? Or from there need to squeeze with people to take 2 bus stops the other way to Bendemeer MRT

that's why all 3 locations to locate are shit

if can, live at the funeral parlour across there is still the option i really want. the other 2 locations 1 is shit the other one is worse than shit (sims drive)

imagine now i can wear lok kok shorts maybe not even underwear and clogs/flip flops take <3 min go NTUC and hawker to dabao

nxt time must cross road take 1 bus or walk 8-9 min-ish to buy food or waste money take bus, cross the road then change to MRT


machiam kena f in the ass and still must thank PAP like that

my dad area is too ex and really old... the flats all older than me, and with older flats come alot of problems... my suggestion is better not

u know my wife got so used to staying at city fringe area, she can't get used to staying outskirts anymore...

end of the day must see what's your requirements, if amenities and transport den your present place is the best

I concur with its lease still long , along with pro of not hvg to deal with all old flat issues
But if ts one human Tk 350-500 k of loan is quite scary
If with a wifey each human 1xx k -250k loan still possible but also v v big loan amount

If buy big house n renting will hv to live with tenant / landlord issues mybfd till house fully paid

Why TS don't wait for bto? Since no rush , alr got home to stay... another flat just for preference...

single and if above 35 can apply 2 rm flexi bto... not a bad deal also
