A message purportedly from Li Hongyi, son of Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, announcing his resignation as Singpass Director has circulated widely in private messaging groups.
In the post, Li reportedly cites leadership misalignment and trust issues as reasons for stepping down.
While he reportedly remains in his role as Director of Open Government Products at GovTech, neither Li nor GovTech has confirmed the message's authenticity.
TOC has reached out to both for clarification but has yet to receive a response.
