As per health documentary show says...
One normal fruit has water content. U eat probably 1-2 servings will be full. The amount of sugar u taken from normal fruit will be controlled due to fullness from water content.

When a dried fruit is dehydrated, water is lost but sugar amount still the same. A person eating 1-2 pieces will not be full. The danger is the person will continue to eat many pieces till he is full, adding a lot of sugars.

And another thg to note is the amt of effort
U eat a whole fruit Eg eating one pomelo need 9cow 2 tigers to pare open and pry each slice of skin
Same for papaya or mango
But eat dried one all ready and sugar preserved
Sweeter than sweet na

I think if hv real fruit pls eat original with it seeds n other parts to remove
Dried fruit stms if u go countries where fruit is not alws there when u need to eat sthg at weird hr or alr 2- 3 days no provision for fruit
Got sthg better than nothing la : is my thought
