actually I am, i see tourists first thing they do when they arrive is to walk over and take pics.

and reviews of the place have never been negative, i think.

yeah it is fake and ex... but honestly, singapore is so small we really have to bank on such gimmicks to attract tourists. we don't have many natural sites or steep cultural places.

and if you go on weekday afternoon Jewel can be a relaxing place to just walk around aimlessly and have a cup of coffee.

No. Its an expensive vanity project for visitors. An airport is an airport just
to arrive from and depart to overseas.  Just like countries trying to outdo each other
for highest building. It never ends.
A park for sinkies can be used frequently and is better for the soul.
