But they will give feedback in a nice way and if you decide not to heed them, they will still say yes.  They will not say things like push this way and I resign or demand a vote

If they cooperate, more like yes men liao

- tell ideas
- cooperate
- be very competent

In reality, they are usually two out of three

Those who tell ideas and cooperate are rarely very competent.  Usually the yes men or just those who just want to go home peacefully end of day and collect paycheck end of month

Those who cooperate and are very competent usually won't tell ideas.  They keep the ideas to themselves for future use.

Those who are very competent and tell ideas are not likely to cooperate with you if they disagree with you.

We may use the words we want team players.  Or people easy to work with.  But at the end of the day, we want yes men.

Caveat - the yes men we desire are also competent lah.  Not idiots.  It's just that more competent ones might be more toxic

solving problem.. many things have many solution.. and have moar than one answer.. the aim is to solve the problem

way 1 or way 2 or way 3, as long as achieve the aim, using which ever way to reach the solution is hokay.

dun need to agree on which method used.. just need to agree on final output

then things will be easier
 


however in sg ten yr series only have 1 method of solving and 1 answer.. if dun folow strictly then failed.. so too bad.. need to get rid of this mentality.
