[GPGT] Swenson's buffet at Airport!

Hello. Had a birthday treat yesterday so I decided to upload the pics for anyone's interested to go.

Me and my bf went. Total cost $119 for buffet lunch, the price increase is due to pre-holiday. We thought it was $35++ per pax, we overlooked the pre-holiday surcharge.

The Fish fillet was alright. I used ranch sauce to go with the fried fish, taste better with the sauce.

Hot dog bun was alright, tasted like Ikea hot dog bun.

Calamari taste good, chewy and no weird smell.

Bbq chicken was ok.

The short hotdog bratwurst taste nice.

Tried the crab, had some soil smell on certain parts of the crabs, had to spit it out.
Only ate the legs. Picture shows the size of crab legs.

Can be better if it's cooked in chilli crab sauce or black pepper, and with proper cleaning of crabs before cooking.

Never tried prawns or the clams.

Bf tried lobsters no comments.

The plate has chicken Tikka and mutton curry, and pizza. All taste good 👍

Some roasts like rotisserie chicken and lamb chop, chef slices for u.

Lamb taste alright. Furama Tiffany lamb chop was way better imo.

Ondeh ondeh, apple crumble, durian penyet, waffles were all good, ondeh has zhup squirting out, jhj.
There were also brownies, banana crumbles, flat croissant not in photo.

No cakes provided. Total 90minutes eating time but we overshot by a bit, no penalty.

Had ice cream cookies and cream and maple walnut to end the meal. All good. There were over 30 ice creams flavours to choose from. Saw chocolate fondue too. Many sweet condiments to go along with ice cream.

Earl grey tea was nice.

Laksa taste ok, gravy a bit too salty

Had a chance to taste quite a number of food that I didn't really bear to spend on during everyday life. Grateful for that. Enjoyed the meal and ate to 95% full 😂



Ended the day with a T1 flights viewing.

Oh the $119 is for 2 pax. $50++ per pax for pre-holiday.

The Zermatt tends to exaggerate his claims, for eg, the fried fish claims.

Calamari taste great. Indian cuisine meats are good, Desserts are good.

This buffet is worth it if it sticks to it's price and no pre-holiday surcharge.

Still grateful for being able to go on a buffet as I can try many things at one go which I can't do on normal Cai png days.

They only give u 3 scoops per queue. So I'm guessing if you want more need to re-queue.

Been there to try once during weekdays. Notch bad. But better make reservations if you dont want to wait.

Not an ice cream person. No cakes available only have brownies. I guess their ice cream replace cakes as desserts.
