Be careful in Kuala Lumpur. I checked into the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in KL. Dropped off my luggage then went with my family to meet up my extended family for lunch. Later that night when I got back, I went to my wallet to take some usd to exchange for tomorrow. Lo and behold (I travel quite a bit so I keep all the local currency from countries I've been to) all large denomination bills from my wallet was taken. 

I reported it to the front desk they did a supposedly investigation saying no one entered my room ( keep in mind I had an adjoining room that was not locked when I came back to the hotel). Told the manager on duty I wanted to file a police report. Went to the local station and filed a report the following day. After filing my report they told me they will come by my hotel later that night to investigate. After the police arrived their tone changed and said the6 will need me go to the station. I thought that was quite weird but went anyways. 

As soon as I arrived into the station they confiscated my phone and started to interrogate me. Bottom line they threaten to throw me in jail unless I drop my report because they can't find who took my money. Saying I made the thing up. 

After being interrogated for over 2 hours I finally relented and drop my report and was freed to go. Say all you want about police in the states but this is a NEW level.

I have enclosed the 1st report I reported and my forced retraction. Please repost so people know how corrupt folks are here. 

If anyone know how to report the officers involved please let me know. I want to turn this officers in. Malaysia is a BEAUTIFUL place. I'm not bashing this country just the corrupt officials.

Wow...tats bad.
Need to Google hotel reviews, some boutique hotel has staff stealing. There was a boutique hotel at Hue Vietnam where ppl lost money kept in luggage. So, need to choose reputable hotel. Nvr keep money inside room unless those 5*.

If u work in some community that has their majority and u are the minority  same thing they take care of their own ppl first.
Some things cannot be said bluntly. This one of the reason we import ft over  Chinese tfr lower and lower. If this country falls into their hands it is over very hard to ensure they will maintain harmony like miw and not adopt bumi policies against u so many life examples
Not helped by the fact neighboring countries all Muslim countries. Look at Israel not they attack first now every Muslim country want take opportunity to put them down /whack them

When some leaders say we cannot be xenophobic. But you see some special people they only take care their special own race and do some shit things to other races/people.
And their environment, toilets, buildings and infrastructures are so run down that they don't care for 30 years.
