Yesterday, Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim's scheduled visit to a Ramadhan Bazaar in Perlis took an unexpected turn when he was approached by a Mak Cik eager to discuss the challenges posed by rising living expenses.

Makcik personally tells PMX to take a good look at high living costs

YESTERDAY, Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim visited a Ramadhan Bazaar in Perlis before leaving for a buka puasa event nearby. His visit, however, was slightly "interrupted" by a Mak Cik, who had a friendly message for him.

While being surrounded by the crowd, the Mak Cik stood near PMX outside his car and told him to take a look into the rising costs of living, as shown in a viral TikTok post by @wanpakyatowingperlis.

"Things are expensive. You have to take a good look at it!" the Mak Cik 'sternly' reminded PMX.

Anwar smiled and nodded at the Mak Cik, who had probably voiced out what entire Malaysians have been waiting to tell PMX personally.

In a brief conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Pak Ya said that PMX visited the Ramadhan Bazaar at Gua Sami, Seriap in Perlis. According to him, the bazaar is known as the mini version of Putrajaya by the locals. Perlis Menteri Besar was also at the scene.

When asked about the costs of living, Pak Ya also told WORLD OF BUZZ that everyone is affected by the rising prices of goods. Not only that but he also admitted that the food pricing in Ramadhan Bazaar at Gua Sami is not cheap anymore.

"The food is expensive today, unlike last time."

I though I heard Anwar doesnt take any salary, then in SG that one takes millions $$$$ per year still want to increase this increase that, never even listen to anyone complaint.
