i think last time my father buy the tau kwa bao from there one. long ago. his company is distributor for many of the shops selling those pots and pans at joo chiat, im sure u know the entire lane there lah

all his dou kia (customers in teochew)

oh i didnt know the foods there..... maybe can go try. sometimes i bring my dad go there walk walk one. thinking to go on Wednesday

All the kek lai shops along, 80s there were at least 12 such shops spread between Joo chiat and onan that 2 roads. Most of them stay nearby roads houses also.

When i growing up there night time the joo chiat complex there alot of hawker carts sell porridge sell chiken rice etc one. Then the kambing triangle kali pok from the mosque there also sedap last time

Almost all now is died or retired else sold or rent out their units now shake leg yao lam pah.

Pot and pans and everything else sundry even tilam also. Yah the infamous cane as well.

ya i know the feud for the wtm and i got eat there before long ago and more recently (last yr)

the porridge or what i dont know la, but i know my father got bring me there to the joo chiat there to make/chop passport dunno smlj last time when i was younger maybe like 7 yo.

dont think my father got supply canes.... but maybe wrong. mostly pots, pans, metal plates and those more expensive diningware or cups that malays like
