Hello fellow edmwers, created a new account as I scared anyone that i know read this. Actually have been on this forum for 20+ years.

Felt very shitty for the past year?
Dad was diagnosed with cancer with 6 months to live last July, passed away in September.

Wife wanted separation in August, i almost went crazy after my dad passed away. Went to see a therapist alone for a few sessions, but stopped seeing already.

We were married in 2022, there were some issues after we moved in together. But main issue is she didnt thought marriage is like that and I am not sweet enough. I am just your typical loner guy tbh that is like a wooden block.

So in August she just said she wanted out. Before August, i was already trying to do what she wants, but she still cannot foresee living her life with me.

Tried very hard to salvage but all i received back was harsh words. Nvr cried so much in my life before.

In the end, i asked her to move out, so im all alone in our resale hdb, plan is for me to buyover the house when we divorce next yr.

In between also a lot of unfortunate things happened to me, like injured both of my hands badly while playing basketball, bo tai bo ji tooth infected need to extract and do implant.

Tbh i am very tired of life already. If not for my mother, probably i would have given up.

I grew up in a below avg family, probably bottom 25% kind? Hustled 35 yrs of my life, got a good job, thought finally can chill and set up my own family. Then suddenly within 3/4 months just shattered.

Tried using dating apps, got quite a few matches (i am quite decent looking, >180cm as well, probably a 7/8) but i just feel a lot of inertia from myself. Dont want to go through the process of dating a girl, need to learn abt each other again. And probably lost faith in marriage?

I have been telling myself i am not in the worst position, cause i can still date and have a decent paying job.

But the bad thoughts just will creep into me occassionally making me feel very depressed..

I think its just my expectation of life/dream just suddenly took a big turn and i am struggling to get over it..

Sorry for the rant.. (my friends were very concerned initially, but i dont think i want to burden them for so long)
