Just received my condo sales proceeds today. 1 mil plus put in SCB Marathon esaver promo and 400k to cpf.

Will be buying a 3.4 mil FH terrace worth 4mil.

3 years later got option to sell and retire with 6k passive income in a humble resale hdb.

Will consider upgrading to bigger freehold landed for even bigger gains in future too if we don't retire.

Does it make sense for me to borrow more like S$1.87 mil with showfunds of S$1.8ml. To invest for higher interest?
Extra interest paid is about $16500 over  3 years by loan $240k more than needed. I would have extra $300k for investing. at 3.5% over 3 years is $31500 so I make an extra S$15k over 3 years.

Or just by putting $150k in my UOB one account, I can get S$18k interest over 3 years.
