Actually I have two minds in this

There wasn't a trial in corruption - the charges were dropped iirc

On the other one, I think it's very vague given that there was no precedent on that charge.

Theoretically Amy Khor could also have been charged for getting the eggs and Baey for getting the discounts for nasi padang

No conflict of interest?  Who knows?  A farmer might need her to put in a good word on certain sustainability practices since she is the minister in charge and the stall owner might need baey to look favourably on any rental increase

he plead guilty to a crime la under penal code.

he agreed he committed a crime

but there was no trial coz he admit early and got the discount on sentencing
