For Recreational Purposes

UA Registration
Any unmanned aircraft (UA) with a total weight of above 250 grams must be registered before it can be operated in Singapore. Some examples of UA include radio-controlled aircraft, drones and remote-controlled kites.

Permit Requirements

A Class 2 Activity Permit is required if the total weight of your UA does not exceed 25kg, but you are flying your UA:

What drone to get?
Any drone 250g or less ish hokay. (total weight)

Those interested ..  should probably look at DJI
otherwise can try Holystone (from amazon) cheaper but lousier...  for people with budget.

other brands can forget about it.  although open to suggestions

for cheaper or customisation ...  chiu can probably buy seperate parts and make chiur own.
but they cost almost the same as all in one solution / consuemr drone when tally the total spent.
Things to get:
-air frame / motor/ rotors/ RC receiver. usually sell in a set or chiu can buy seperate
-transmitter / RC
-video system
-Googles etc

They also give up hobby n change to selfie stick video / photography alr

i think many places no fly zone leh. i also scared. i mean it's interesting but everywhr cant fly one, esp those near airport like changi, seletar and paya lebar

Very restrictive, i think a permit is required to fly a drone in a no-fly zone.

Need to thump at least a week to know. So far they don't dare make noise after i thump yesterday. Ceca scum still try to smoke me and the office say noise not from them. I infuriated to know this
