not really sure if dare to go visit/buy the house......... should be one of the nearby not say very far above or what

@daryl76 I also google for PP house leh... help me keep a lookout somewhr more convenient one not the deep deep inside one

I find this price high .. but again it is 500-600 m fr lavender mrt town centre so that explains why.

Can consider what grants u can get ehg, proximity grant to reduce liability...

If Ur job can partially WFH or need not commute to town centre then can consider other locations that are a little less pricey ...
Lkk pov is I don't want to be a slave to my mortgage.. so I ll only want to buy a house that is  X years of my annual income...
If u buy to huat as investment then just Ignore whatever I share as I m seeing as a owner occupant pov .. lifetime ownership for a house till my old age

If me I don't care previously got kak zhua or not or ppl passed on or not. Old houses or rather resale house is inevitable some hv some stories.. humans more scary than kak zhua .. I ll check e house for a long signs .. unneighbourly signs .. any noise or other potential pollution nearby ...

means ure younger than me by 1 yr.

frankly speaking i think this yr prices should dip a bit. but not drop drastically. i think if want to buy a house to rent out or whatever, no matter what must buy either way

but looking at tonnes of HDBs around SG, many around central region like macpherson, chin swee, bishan......... banking hopes on SERS is not wise actually

so many locations as good, or even better. what makes us think they will enbloc geylang bahru first and not chin swee that prime location (except full of old people, poor people and druggies) first

of coz if couple liao then can buy

but single wise a lot to think about and commitment

Go text e agent ask for viewing u d know for sure .. if u hv family or bff , bring one more unbiased human with u for second human opinion but be very sure what is most impt and what s not so crucial ...

Sers or not .. 500k is a big big financial commitment that will drastically change ur financial situation and ur stress level .. so consider these factors unbiasedly

When a human got huge stress ... earning 20k also feel like 1.00

If no rush.. consider bto? 150-200 ish k for smaller space .. no scary kakzhua or ghostly history to consider and much less $ to consider financially or reno or cleaning or stress of up keeping e house in long run (con is no rental to earn if u wish to do so )

tiagong rental yield got dip. prices supposedly dip a bit but like u say machiam no dip. maybe 3-5% for now nia

unless is deep recession......... if just slight recession or demand drop or supply increase by a lot, or new policies (very unlikely in election year coz they dont want to piss either side off)

probably like i say, hope for 10-15% max

actually drop is better for all including boomers except those expecting to die (har?) very soon.... or those waiting to cash out
