no la im not saying that is reasonable, im also saying everything adds up

im saying in perspective. my flat was built in 1973 and cost 9k+ (let's round up to 10k)

51 years later, this place costs about 380-400k

less than 50 yrs lease left and cost 400k, 40x the price in 1973. did our salaries increase 40x?

cost of running the forum is definitely not reasonable for the number of people we get. no economies of scale

My bro shared with me that during a business trip to london, he decided to just take some time off and visit the places he went to when he was younger.  The prices in the area show up so much compared to the increase in local salary

So he commented that while there is a lot of inflation in Singapore, people complaining about it has not seen how bad inflation is overseas.  Even Malaysia is crazy but just that because of the exchange rate it feels ok
