Recently, a friend of mine was kenna questioned so he told the truth to the interrogator.  Nothing big.  But then he later told me his other friend, instead of complimenting him on honesty or something, accused him of telling the truth because he feared for the loss of his reputation, loss or girlfriend etc but basically this friend of mine got told off by his other friends because he told the truth for "selfish reasons" as opposed to just being honest.

Then this friend of mine told me he suddenly wondered what kind of friends is he surrounding himself with

Hmm my mom didn't work until I 10 yr old and my younger sibling 8 ish
Cos they couldn't mk ends meet .. so in a way chenghoo kept encouraging them not to hv e younger one and they said they ll get some spare $ had they not created my younger bro
But they did so he came . The fourth and fifth they decided they wouldn't hv enuf $ as my Pa sole breadwinner and back then we still hv my a kong till I was 2 ish
Every mouth costs some money
And most money when they r in sec till last years of tertiary education

My parents not as educated so they didn't get any incentive but they came fr family or 8-10 kids so yea they didn't have any consideration to hv lesser kids .. only when not enuf $ then stop lor

I think kids r a joy but the world is v diff from our old childhood days and I also didn't think it s a fun time to grow up n become part of it n
I m also not 99% sure I wil raise a good decent kid what makes me thk he won't become one of the useless charsiew in this world ?
