never ever sign any contract without reading, understanding it and ensure that you are able to perform the contract.

you can speak out and ask for changes anytime before it is signed.

If u really want to quit no show up at all.

What can they do to u? At most send u demand letter nia.

Won't go to court one. Time and effort not worth since u say in small fry position.

My people I hire also 3 months notice period last time in contract.

But when they want to quit that time, they come talk to me, say next job start in 2 months time how then i help talk to hrd, quickly 1 month let the frllow go liao if handover swee swee.

Don't drag people time for nothing.

To me la. Pointless to have empty shell sitting in office once want to quit le.
Just make the morale low and mood bad for most people nia including the quitter.

if she pay is 1k a mth, then 2 mth notice period , nose give notice to payed 2k to the company
is small amt to u but not small amt to her.

not say will happen but it can happen if  she get letter of demand from lawyer / debt collector knock on her door
worth it?

this kind civil claim for small amt is small claims jurisdiction .. not much court fees, if they really want to persue is velly easy , coz the black and white is there.

moi advice is just do everything properly. huai give other ppl chance to give chiu trouble.

My new hr colleague come to work at 9am.


Then dunno briefing session by his boss, after that come out see me smoking talk to me say he kana bluff  by the hiring boss, job scope not per what was described.

Then i tell him tough luck lo, want to quit faster quit today, don't drag.

Lunch time I come back, he put his staff pass on my table and left a note say thank you bro for the wise advice.

I went to his hr boss show him his new hire staff pass. Then I gan him say smoke people somemore la.

I can say it has not happened before to my knowledge.

The one that happens usually is those employment agency contract ones. Cos they lose commission and need find foc replacement.

wan to quit can anytime quit one la..  if one person wan to quit but company dun allow him to quit is slavery.

Jobless liao don't give chance to let hr find another candidates who would just grab and go.

Some hr just can't be bothered to change anything at all one.

I can tell u that. Cos all my ex hires those Knn junior position they also put min 3 months, I say who the fuck in right mind will want 3 months notice for a 3k job. Yet somehow they get candidates.

Same thing I sit thru the interview they ask about the notice period.
Hr say cannot change company policy and brush the fellow off.

I just say work 1st if not happy can discuss later.

Hr just want easy life la.
