Let’s talk about VEP registration

Anyone managed to register for VEP now successfully?  What is the background?

For me, it's complex

2019 - I got the VEP sticker affixed
2020 - I changed car so no more VEP

Now, I am trying to re register a new one.

I forgot my old password. 

I clicked password reset and a link is sent to me that leads me back to  login page.  Cannot reset

I emailed them and a link is sent to me that leads me back to the login page.  Cannot reset

I use a new account but I cannot complete registration cos the system shows nric previously registered to another account.  Sian

No error message.  Just say type in your email here and a link will be sent to you to reset password

Ok.  So they just sent an email back to me and now I can reset my password.  I still cannot deactivate my previous VEP but it shows "tag expired"

So I will try to do the registration and hope it goes smoothly from now on. But I do think I will go to Jb to get the sticker fixed as opposed to doing it myself by getting it through post

Ok.  Documents all submitted and now "processing".  Dunno how long that will take and if there will be ding dong but at least it's moving

my parents renewed their VEP for their car, end up submit everything online, they got email to say plz bring documents to their office in bolehland for final re-verification and collection of VEP sticker

moi car still stuck in the "3-5 days" approval stage

my car is a used car. previous owner had it but deregistered it.

i tried to register as a new car and used car, both also cannot.

i just read the update on CNA and emailed them with details of my previous used car plate number and current plate number along with chassis number.

hope they get it fixed soon. if not i will have to call them. zzz

Moi tried to register before covid. Could not register then as system hung due to traffic.
Want to know after registraruon how to get the vep label?

How about touch & go, still available & easy to get? Where to get on first entry. Can they take cash?

Take bus, go in, get a Tng card then top up then on next trip use it for car

Or order from carousel

Many many years ago I did not have money in my Tng card cos that time they could still take cash.  But now they want Tng card.  And you need to top up at least RM10.  I only have sufficient ringgit for the toll cos I was planning to use SGD to change in JB

The immigration agreed to top up my Tng card with SGD but exchange rate was 1:1.  Means if I wanna top up 10 RM, I paid 10 SGD

I had to pay

And after that I always made sure I got sufficient money for till or my card is always topped up
