Lol I also dunno what to say..just dun be greedy..if you think a profit is good enough liao, take it..unless you are really confident that particular stock can go even higher..or even lower if u do shorting.
Protecting your capital is crucial! Rather miss a higher profit than bagholding.

If u just starting out Find out your trading style which suits u best
Position trader/swing/scalper
Traders is more knowledge skill intensive steep learning curve as they zoom in on opportunities 
Investor is  more relying on FA just put money in and dca
FA is stock selection
TA is when to enter

Focus on only 1 type of financial instrument. Different markets have different criterias to succeed 

Macro > everything else

Be focus don't be distracted is most important

If you are an investor then what traders tell you makes no sense. Might come in and laugh  at you for being reverse indicator
You  need to be firm which is you? Investor or trader? Many people don't even know what's the difference
Sometimes they want be trader some days suddenly decide to be investor

I only trade stocks going uptrend primarily in a bull market
Downtrend stocks got different way of trading
Study the past
Stock selection i only trade the same 1-5 stocks primarily

As you can see it's more than just buy and sell.
Traders should master the above. If investor can just go ahead and skip most as what you need to do is learn to ignore the noises
Edmw too much rubbish think highly of themselves lanjiao langs but the things they type or trying to hao lian is a joke to me cos I know the stuffs. They typing rubbish most are noobs yet talk very loud

U start with capital let's say 100k. Daily profit 1% already nets u 1k usd per day
1% per day  is achievable
If 5% it's 5k for a few minutes trade
Slowly build up your capital don't withdraw to achieve compound effect.
Those simi full time trader cos monthly income
I don't think they heading the right way
It is not a get rich quick thing
