He say that because so far s&p500 only goes up
It did come down during the covid but it goes even higher after that
And they calculated s&p annual return is 12%
Better than fixed d 4%

Cos u buying it on a discount
Green bar u don't buy

S&p500 only consists of the 500 top companies in usa
If anyone underperformed they would be removed so that's why it only goes up
