Told by dentist that my boy needs jaw surgery, costs S$100k in private!

His bite no good, only front 2 teeth and back 2 plus 2 teeth biting. Rest not aligned.

Prob needs jaw surgery.

But he just did invisalign cost me S$9k to correct his teeth alignment leh, why they never align his teeth properly?

Dentist referring him to NDC to see if need metal braces, jaw will grow till he is 25-30 years old. If braces cannot correct then need jaw surgery. Costs S$100k in private.

i think my friend did it before 30, quite sure coz i nv contact him since 30 yo liao. i believe he did it before/during army leh

immediately after his surgery he looks very weird and different. i just googled his pic, looks better and normal now

yea last time also not cheap, but cheaper than now coz it's considered as a big surgery. and i think recovery not easy since it has to do with eating. think need liquid diet for quite a few weeks

last time i think he told me dunno is 30k or 50k it's a big amount at that time like 20 yrs ago liao

This one is big surgery he told me. Need consultant dentists and plastic surgeon spec on facial/facial structure maxillofacial or some shit.

After that still need to wear braces again or sth.

I rem he wore in lower sec then he did the surgery dunno after o levels or a levels and have to wear again

did chiur son have problem eating?
did chiur son have any issues with bite not correct?

if no issue/ no problem , then no need to fix easy .

Most dentist job for scaling no need a dentist, they just do a technician job. Not do cure like a doctor. So, jaw surgery needs a surgeon. But $100,000 is really overcharged.

I think last time my bilateral mastectomy with recon would have cost S$200k in private.

I go under TTSH subsidised B2 class paid only S$17 in cash, rest subsidised and company pay. Total was about S$40k plus I think.

NDC expensive & put houseman to do your teeth & you will be used as training. Moi experience.
