Being small island, low population, no natural resources such as water, we are quite vulnerable. So, we need to have allies when get attacked. We have pact & allies. If war breaks out in this region, who you think will send troops & army? Uncle Sam, UK, Israel, OZ, NZ & hopefully Taiwan. Why you think USA navy can dock at Philippines port, our port. We have pact with them for our survival. Its well known our Army goes training in US, OZ & Taiwan.

If OBOR or kra canal succeeds, China will be transporting ammunition, army troop all around ASEAN. National security in danger. China already moving around SCS. Let's not be fooled by them again. CCP does not want to be SG ally but want our location as army base if not Kra & we can really one day be a province of China under CCP.
