First gen hawkers their rental very cheap few hundreds only. Then initially can sublet to others when they old to earn rental but wp propose don't allow subletting then now cannot but alot of them still secretly do renting out their stall for $1800 passive income by putting their name together as partners

Yeah. The feeling is always very subdued on Sunday compared to sat.

Ppl go home earlier and shops are quieter and close early.

Even though I presume most countries are similar, I just feel that singapore is like a pressure cooker made worse by all the competition from foreigners, job insecurity and small living area.

At least in other countries you can prob retreat to some ulu town or countryside and live simple.

No such options here. Well maybe changi or ubin? Lol

when lkk was a kid , my k2 time was 3-5 pm so my mom gotta go n fetch me cos it was 6 bus stops away .. to entice n entertain me .. I ll pluck all e flowers along e way til both hands all fingers r full
