My hubby bringing food to my poor maid still starving at the old house and after she finish dinner will bring the rest of our items here.

Think will end up sleeping past midnight today.

My 2 boys moving some things now.

I have breast and Tram reconstruction and surgeon says I don't have strong abdominal muscles left so cannot carry heavy things.

I think paid them S$800plus just for 3 x moving in a 10ft trunk.

They just left everything in our living room and porch. Cause hubby didn't want to pay them another S$400plus just for moving up stairs.

The worst moving experience so far. We have to sort out the mess ourselves.

Prev cheaper bangla and Chinese movers were better.

This time is Malay movers. Sigh, don't want to quarrel since Hari Raya coming and they r fasting also quite poor thing.

Moving costs really go up a lot. 7 years ago was just S$200 plus now 4x more!

Ya, Sg everything also expensive. Dismantle and fix aircon and top up gas also S$500! More than the cost of the Midea aircon I bought in JB only rm1300

Lucky my Indon maid is strong, with hubby and 2 boys most furniture are moved.

Outdoor couch cannot fit through my boy's bedroom door to the balcony, through their windows also cannot. My hubby wants to use ladder to bring up from downstairs tomorrow.
