I see Dr already he gave me pain killer and muscle relaxant plus a shot to bring down inflammation (he says will only last for 9 hrs and it is not steroids)
Until now no help. i finished the painkiller already.
When i try lift up my head the trap between neck and right shoulder hurts very badly Sometimes the pain will even extend to entire right hand become numb and weak if trigger certain movements. It has been a week
I try to do stretching exercises by myself no use instead aggravate the area further
I tried acupuncture twice only alleviate temporary
I am contemplating to go polyclinic ask for corticosteroid shots as i believe that's the only thing that can bring down the pain.
but scare the doctor well  reject my request as they think steroidal shots will harm my body. But i cant even sleep properly at night so whats the use if give me solutions that will only back to square one
I can't even sleep at night but some doctors don't care and are not empathy they think I'm ordering them around which is not

Sounds like u need MRI neck to exclude cervical slipped disc.

Any weakness of the limbs would be an emergency

His sounds like possible cervical radiculopthy but possibly need to exclude myelopathy meaning slipped disc press on spinal cord. That one is rare but dangerous can lead to paralysis so any weakness is an emergency.
