Many many years ago, I worked in macdonalds.  So we all get name tags with our names on them.  Below the names are many stickers but they are all white cos they are all covering labels

I started off at the fish o fillet station.  Once I mastered it, one of the white stickers was removed to show a small burger to show I have mastered the fish o fillet

Then as the weeks go by, I went to the Mac chicken/nuggets side and fries and more and more stickers were removed until I got to the counter.

Those very senior people are those with all stickers removed 😂

I never got the sticker off the one making Big Mac.  So I only mastered topping up drinks, fish o fillet, fries/hashbrown and chicken (mc chicken and nuggets). 😂

Not really difficult but it's more complicated when u consider all are part timers and just wanna have fun

Fish o fillet is just fish o fillet with bun, tartar and cheese.  Fries is just fries etc etc

The Big Mac has the beef and the bun etc so it's also the station for Big Mac, hamburger, cheese burger and double cheese burger.  My time no quarter pounder

So whoever is working there need to master 4 burgers cos when the team leader ask for 10 hamburgers, u can't mishear and do 10 cheese burgers.  Fish o fillet is all straightforward.

And don't forget there will still be the custom orders like fillet o fish with no sauce, extra sauce, no salt etc etc so imagine this at the hamburger station

But it's not that difficult to master la.  It's just whether they want to put u long enough in the station to learn

During my time they really prefer to put the young o level students at the counter cos we are faster and we are the "faces projecting a young workforce".
