Also realised this part of Singapore along with geylang bahru and macphrson quite a lot of elderly.

Macpherson got new bto though so sld be getting rejuvenated soon.

We are crowded cos we hv too many foreigners. I think almost half the people you see outside are foreigners. And those who look and even sound like us might even be Malaysians who are new citizens or hv worked here for very long.

i just happened to go temple then took a bus there to dabao dinner to come home...that was close to 5pm

weekend cannot go, hahahaha yesterday we were there also... crowd started coming at 4 plus even though not yet iftar... mr vadai super long queue which i find damn silly, they have so many branches, why must go there to queue, food super expensive too.. dim sum kakak is 3 pieces for $5 and packet of briyani or fried rice is $8 and above!!!

Even a communal event like this. No wonder singapore lacking passion and creativity.

PA could hv easily charged say 5k for rental and ensure that prices are neighbourhood and affordable. So that it can be in the spirit of the festival.

Whole plot of land and space all usually sit empty anyways.

wow exactly what i told my wife too... crazy right? even though this year they claim the rental is capped at $15k but its still damn high!!! cb pa and pap just wan money

theres only 4 stalls there, malay food, soon kueh, fishball noodles and dessert/sugarcane drink

I was at people's park complex hawker last Sat. they have a branch there. seems quite popular.
