Feeling moody over job

think mostly alr going for 2yr contract yeah ? pre-covid alr so.

nowadays its mostly contract everywhere

dont need justify any lay offs if they never renew contract

thank you. yeah, going freelance is one of the considerations at the moment.

i completed 50% of my cpa so not sure if shld continue, even if continue but cant find someone to sign off my working exp = i also cant get the cpa designation

If need another cpa to sign you off.. shd work full time to get enuf recognition n work tgt time with someone else to get yrself signed off for full qualification... yr cpa school hv teachers who r in full time job in other industries are u in connection with them and do they know u r interested to change envt ? There's a certain value in going to face to face classes that online can't replace (my own feeling )

For me .. if my existing work alr not ideal .. contract with someone new and i potentially like this company or at least 50% chance of good .. I ll go try ... at least better than alr known and not good situation

my previous job used to be ok, but i lost everything after they did a restructuring which happened less than 2 months i joined them, and i was left with almost zero guidance and direction. but i still worked for another 1.5 years almost entirely alone with few support and respect from colleagues too. coz they see i no manager in local office, so become easy target.

overseas hq got staffs and i had an imaginary reporting line to them. no support alr nvm, they even interfered with my work also.

the final straw was the auditors refused to sign off the audit, resigned and backdated their resignation, with the audit manager calling me and tell me specifically i should not work in that job and coy any longer.

I think the audit manager saw the good in u and as a friend than foe he told u abt this ... why would external party say this to a company staff man 🫣

my first job is still my only job since i got hired right after graduating over 10 years ago

was thankful enough that they let me rotate everywhere and go 3/4 + 1/2 time when i wanted too

if i didn't like ppl in my department, either i backstab and kill them off or i move away

if everyday u wake up, looking forward to going to ur office to do things because u want too, and not because u got dateline

then u found that job u really love that could turn out to be your vocation

but its super super rare imo.

i met ppl like that b4. this guy working for a big christian church, he organizes mission trips to the region to help the poor villages

he really loves his job, he goes in early, leaves late, weekend also go, because he believes in what he does. the salary is secondary.

If you become jobless, you will also be moody..so just continue with it..at least you r getting paid 🙂

Anyway you have financial background, why not venture into stock trading (if you haven't tried it) and see whether you can carve out a successful path from it. And, if you're really good at trading, at least it's a good backup to fall back on if u quit your current job without securing a new one.

my frens go nz when they young then later joined their agriculture industry then fr work holiday work long term as their farming additional staff then after X years became their pr
But I remb she went when she was abt 2x. They want young ppl cos of labor intensive work and young ppl tend to give longer time of gdp contributions before needing health care sv and retirement support ?

as emails flying everywhere from me but no answer received from others
the auditors also cant do their work too

all i know is back then the auditors engaged some external parties or their local audit offices at other countries to do investigation and discovered things which have been around all these years but were not picked up in the past audits conducted in prior years

But at e v least u left sinking ship which was corroded by white ants before they come n stain yr name lor .. so I thk this is good amidst the rot ...
East house no work find west house to work la... in sg as long as we healthy can work .. sure can find another job .. only sometimes we can't get back a certain salary $ due to competition or the envt and stress level sometimes not what we preferred
