What would you bring back from the 80s/90s?

well other than dead loved ones.

i would bring back marina bay steamboat/bbq and lesser foreigners, make us feel more singaporean.

malaysia cup days were good but i don't think we sld rejoin the malaysia league.

Many places revamped until not recognisable anymore

You know the bridge/link between marina square and millenia walk at level 2? Used to hang out and drink there with my frens. Only that link is more or less still intact. Sometimes still go there with frens to reminisce the past

yes the link is still there, the tiles are still the same. prob the only thing remaining from the old marina square.

Haha yah. Last time always use the hotel's toilet. There are 2 open air pubs just outside the hotel side entrance. Now no more

Else is just buy drinks from 7-11 and hang out at the open area. The 2 circle pavilion seats are for couples to hanky panky

i think the hotel got pissed off and subsequently shut off the use of the hotel toilet. I can understand, must be a lot of work for the cleaners.

i got jio meng by some drunk chinese ah beng at the circular seats. my friend and i just ignored him.

I think for hotels like for any biz
A bit and a few random passerby come n lend toilet is ok

If too many until it makes it too dirty and they can't upkeep a clean enuf level for staff n guests then hotel will feel "I hv to do something to ward them away "
