We really need a fair bit of the blue collar ones for clearing rubbish, dewlivery drivers, operators...etc (except too many for construction sectors where we overbuild or rebuild many structures. Then  MOM and the Politicians like to lump them together to mask the numbers using S Pass and EP passes. Also they lump Sinkies and PRs together to get away from sinkies getting angry white collar jobs go to many PRs not Sinkies.

Need to take away S Pass and EP Passes keep the Work Permit only. Those talent (CEOs, rocket scientists, aerospace...)

It's intended this way. By artificially suppressing blue collar wages and creating a huge wage gap between blue and white collar jobs so that they can justify importing foreigners of any kind.
