The idea of wc works like magic is just an edmw myth aka 20k Andy Lau. In 1 of my previous job, I  have came across quite a number of court order and none are like what edmw thinks that the wife get everything etc.

The judge is not stupid and those exception cases are probably rare with the fact the girl is shrewd enough and found a good lawyer to somehow get it.
