I am just curious about the hosting costs.  Definitely it shouldn't be manpower costs

Is it the website needs money to retain the website?

Or some servers are rented to run this forum?

Hosting costs is just 1 aspect. Manpower can be free if u are good enough or have time to maintain it.

This is a one time costs for 12 months.

I nv factor into manpower costs for now even tho we worked with a developer previously. Which amounts to few hundreds per mth. The original intention was for this forums to sustain itself

If no one wishes to help im also fine. Will just keep this probably for another year but if we arent getting traffic and there isnt a strong push, then it will definitely have to end someday

also try to  allow anonymous donation rah.

also beware of law and legislation, maybe chiu need to noe where the $$$ cumming from or cannot accept $$$ from certain groups of individuals if moi recall correctly.

anyway taking free $$$ is always risky, maybe try to make it a sale. ppl pay chiu not to donate to the forum but buying sumthing eg buy the cake that chiu have baked but maybe that will make it non anomymous and ppl can get sexposed.

also consider other options , eg instead of PTE LTD , consider registering this as Charity instead.

otherwise move it to somewhere "free".

How much $ we want to share amongst us ? Rough sum to opt 10.? 20? 30?
Eg if 50 users

Say if u open window for 2 weeks to collate , how will we know left how much time & $ to go etc ?

Why not sell something.  Let's say a e-sticker that says "MONEY MIND"?

Maybe set an account in carousel and then give us the link.  Then we buy the e-sticker from there.  It's legal and you are selling something and we will still remain anonymous
