Ironically people who are physically gone, I don't have much feelings for. Nor miss them. Maybe caz not that close and I felt I did my best when they are around. And people whom I think is important to me left but do I missed? No leh. Yet there is this one person that is inside my mind and my heart which logically shouldn't matter at all. Idk why either. Maybe is the saying 得不到的最好。

Ok to be exact. I don't missed the person but I'm baffled everything that has happened. And I'm upset more like it.

Mixed feelings
Miss the olden day simple life feeling but many of the inconveniences we don't miss

Eg miss the kampung spirit but don't like them to butt in their heads
when they see u go medicine shop n buy flu med
or when u run around play catching in rain n nv tell yr mommy
Or when you fight w classmate n
Kena scolding by laoshi

Eg miss the empty sg in 199x but everywhere hard to go .. go anywh need ppl to teach u or need taxi
And we don't hv $ for that
Or wait for uncles or cousins to free then send us

Eg miss the days of my Pa v hardworking n cute alws ask us to diam but we r dam scared of him
Now he still scold us like 10
Yr old but we no longer scared cos sometimes he really irrational n anyhow .. n burn all his pocket $ in gamble dept

my mum lor.......... i depended too much on her and caused her a lot of misery by telling her my problems. then feel helpless to my dad who is in nursing home

last time every problem i tell her shes like my best friend. im a mummy's boy. i mean outside people may think im very independent or dare to do things/talk to higher ups or talk on stage and not hum ji

but frankly i depended a lot on her for support, and in some ways my dad too

if say miss anything, hmm i dont know. there are, but even if go back in time, might have still made certain decisions. and if we made different decisions, would the outcome really be what we wanted?


it's a bit like the movie butterfly effect. if u all rem the plot, they bombed a letterbox as a prank and killed a pregnant woman and her child.

then the guy went back in time and did something to like say dont light up the explosives or sth but the friend still did then end up his friend kena maimed instead of the pregnant lady

then he went back again, this time to stop his friend and took the explosives from letter box or something then end up he was the one who got maimed

long story short, whichever change he effected, caused misery to someone else, in the end he just strangled himself with the umbilical cord because if he didnt exist all the events would not have happened

I feel u v much as me n bros hv v good rs w my mom. She s v old now and energy levels v low , all 3 high she hv. We still treat her like our bff .. esp e bros cos they don't hv much outside family frens ..

I miss my dad. In my family only he and me watch football so we had our father and son bonding time together for decades watching the beautiful game.

Ever since he left this world, i felt lonely especially watching the World Cup and the Euros. Eventually i moved on though.

Tell this to a person in huge debt or really financially poor person without any savings in need of money just to survive day to day.
This is what those usually with sufficient savings will say.
Because these are people who are already content with the money they have and met their physiological needs.
