Tbf i feel Ottoke is actually the most misunderstood mod in edmw. There's many mods in edmw. I don't have anything against him in fact he is impartial maybe he does make mistakes in awarding ntuc points but he don't abuse

To be frank, we never stopped anyone from leaving the forum. If there are other platforms that are comfortable with, then we are happy for them.

Building a community and maintaining one is never easy. One basic rule is respect. There are also reasons why rules have to be enacted. Like I always said, things are already different from 10 years ago.

I wish you the best in building a new community that you resonate with.

i know rules have to be put in place and will change over time.

the issue is im sure many of you apart from those directly related to SPH also do not fully agree with the draconian laws passed

it's just too obvious to everyone that the rules have become crazily strict over past 2-3 yrs (esp after the revamp)

and the switch to new forums software also because easier for you guys to detect clones and it's already treading on invasion of privacy - the way you all find ways and means to detect clones

and my signature was once changed by one of you even though it was NOT at all infringing on the rules

Fact that one of you changed my signature really disgusted me. The signature was something lamenting about life. Totally not breaking the rules. Not asking people to suicide also. I cant rem the exact message, that was before u all kept targeting me.

Not sure if it's something like "sick of life" or "running out of life" or "too tired to live too scared to die"

but it was changed to a happier message

that is totally invasion of privacy and not only that, impersonating me. I feel totally disgusted by that act.

It's like a kindergarten where everyday ppl can only worship miw and sing praises of gov and one another. Anything else is disallowed or given points. It's a noble idea but such utopia dun exist.

Edmw will cease to exist one fine day, tech and other forums will be fine thou. Then sph will proclaim everyone is happy cos no complaints! Gov will then repeat that no sinkies complain about anything!

Changing of signature was something that couldn't be done by us at mod level, it is public knowledge that only admin can do this. And it is also a natural forum functionally.

I forgot what message you posted since it was so long ago, but there has to be a reason why it has to be done. Your signature probably caused people some level of concern.

Changing of signature was something that couldn't be done by us at mod level, it is public knowledge that only admin can do this. And it is also a natural forum functionally.

I forgot what message you posted since it was so long ago, but there has to be a reason why it has to be done. Your signature probably caused people some level of concern.

nah im 100% sure it didnt infringe on any rules.

i was also quite sure before u said it, that it was done by admin.

it was probably more of a "hi" as a warning msg that they were looking at my conversations and knew it was my clone

it was 100% not breaking any rules, i dare wager my life on it

tbh, i already toned down A LOT but u all just went ahead to ban, based on the rule of "no clones" and previously "cannot use clones during period of ban"

until you all probably installed some permanent cookie on browser which cannot be cleared even if u clear browser cookies, this is the part where it totally infringes on privacy. I would gladly bring this up further if I have to. Probably instigated by govt/mci to ask SPH to actively detect clones
