I'm also just saying what I know, whether you think it's true or not is not really that important to me. End of the day people can believe what they want. In fact if you read back, I never disagree with you on certain things which I think is true too. And FYI, twinkle is in the list too since you're so against that list lol

the tldr is that they're concerned that people outside of sph (i assume is their sponsors or govt bodies) have complained about edmw, so they wanted to do something about it... end result is as you guys can see, geopolitical threads are moved to current affairs lounge

but some people are still not happy and think that they should have freedom of speech etc so they iron teeth and get banned

i think the main problems stem from if one side can do x why i cannot do y, same reason for reports (if x tio points why y no points)

* again, i'm not saying which side is right or wrong

yea the rules change frequently and sometimes never change rules the rules also can be bent to whack you which only made everyone report more (because you never know, might be able to "whack" the other guy)... also the ambiguity of reports make people think that they report each other after an argument or disagreement and someone tio points... it may not be the case actually, someone else might have reported even if you let things be as everyone gets reported in those threads
