The older generation all grow up under LKY, all at least 60 and above years old. Most of them will vote for his party. Their generation been voting for them since post WW2, ask them change is very difficult. ALso they worry if change of leadership they wont get their perks. Like covered walkways, mrt next door, etc. Call it immediate benefits.

Then our generation is the genna screwed over generation, study so hard, get into office, within 10 to 20 years all more or less genna kick out end up drive something to make a living.
