Yes but AI applied to many things. A local LLM model can now run 30b parameters and its already very good. Imagine the next 5 years ? Many jobs will be gone.

1. Chat bot replace all online help, tele-guide, food ordering. Now food order can be remote work, next time is AI.
2. Your fridge and washing machine is smarter then you and eventually kill you one day.
3. Your doctor will diagnose u with AI then give u a final human touch by tell you the diagnostic and treatment.
4. Our Ministers will use AI to tell u how hard they work ....

AI prompt, AI agent using Make or N8n, 2 of the most popular.
Then use AI tool like Cursors bolt to create app. Just learn to get a feel of how powerful AI is. Many people still dismiss AI as just nothing will effect them.

AI will not wash your toilet, so all manual jobs are safe until they launch the robots.

I uses VSCodes and have AI plugin. Open a project folders, then tell AI to analyse the project, tell me the framework and how to upgrade the codes.

Now it is just hit and miss, sometime they do it right and at times, u need manually follow up.

Example, it try to change my folder but not successful. Then it continue making changes which corrupt the rest of the project. I had to prompt stop, redo the last step and tell AI the mistake.
