are you sure they are cheap? prob wages-wise, yeah. but we also pay for their family's accomodation and kids' education I think?

and i do not if there are other countries that use a mercenary army? only know of UK and france, but their Gurkha contingent is bigger I think (and used as assault troops). and France use their French foreign legion to fight dangerous wars overseas, not risking thier own citizens.

We get the second rate Gurkhas. The UK get all the good ones. But yeah the second rate ald stillbe very good.

And I think the malaysian GGK is the best in jungle warfare not gurkhas and certainly not the angmos.
