Means nowadays many unscrupulous ppl amongst us . I visited JB some X yr ago.. their road side sometimes sti hv normal folks selling durian.. of course not like so low cost like olden day but I think cost still within acceptable range.. n they not mercenary to give too many laoya ones..

My mom said her pa last time also buy one basketful but ppl also give him 2 good n whole basket all unripe / 生番薯 so I think who we met n who we buy fr is heng suay one

It's not Heng suay wan. It only had maybe one not so ripe but no way rotten, the scum jhk in msia put inside basket. It our authority fault for letting this to happen & not acting for consumers buying sub standard fruit. If go Europe, the fruit sellers can only put for sale fruit good enuff for consumption. Tis type has to be thrown away. So, now I stop buying fruits from ntuc but from Giant. At least watermelon has some standard.

Tis type has to be thrown away. So, now I stop buying fruits from ntuc but from Giant. At least watermelon has some standard.
