Modified bmt of two months followed by three/four months of vocational training and one month in a unit. Can book out daily.

Can do roles like medic, signaller, admin, store, and even pdf infantry if she has the passion and fitness.

Teach total defence in school but military part is by sg men only?? Whatmore, sg gov everyday say we are living in turbulent times, all the more women should know some military , first aid and survival skills

Exactly! NS is not restricted to being a normal soldier or medic/nurse. There are 1001 vocations that women can do since they always say "what men can do, women can do better", "girl power", "gender equality"!
There are so many ministries, stats boards, glc, dun tell me they can't fit in anywhere???

Esp when our population is shrinking and every year reservist numbers shrink due to medical downgrade, deferment, migration...

Imagine if every woman knows basic medic skills, can fire a sar21 and conduct basic fire movement.

Just need some creative thinking. Can be voluntary and draw lots for  a start. Those who volunteer will get incentives (cos women hv childbearing duties). Fitness and discipline requirements can be slacker. Focus is on skills.

Dont see how five/six months of their lives is too much to ask for. Esp if they can book out.

In the very beginning, we had Israel to help train saf and they have women conscripts, miw should know better than us. Aiyah, they act blur only lah

Our tech is wayang only, it exist to show that we have something. It's like those school projects or prototype cars which will nv be road worthy
