true also, WP has more to lose. and PS has a pending court case. it is defo not easy for any opposition parties in singapore.

which is why it is important that pap be much less dominant. the rot was already setting in since late 90s, 2000s and will only get worse.

worse is that with their highly elevated social status, they will of course think of policies that will further entrench their standing and not have policies that will affect them even if it means that it is far. 

for example, a lot of rich people have multiple cars, why not have these people pay more for any additional cars?

That is why cnt trust whatever pap says even if it is stats.

I think if unemployed more than six months will be removed from stats.

And they dont care if were a pmet previously and they 'find' you a job as a security guard.

Also i think our TFR is worse than even south korea cos we hv a lot of new citizens to help with birth rate.

Showing high Unemployment reflects badly on SG govt. Underemployment is still employment which they don't care about. Even a uni grad working as a cleaner or security guard is a win for sg govt. Can tell approx how many underemployed + unemployed + Retired by looking at GST voucher eligibility. 1.5 million Singapore Citizens were eligible for GSTV last year. Of which 650000 were aged 65 and above also eligible for gstv medisave topup. So it could be approx 950K of underemployed+unemployed+low wage workers.
