Also, it's really a bit too ulu and boring there

Oh yah then go Lab Park is not that good. Unless you walk into the forest part where there are cannons and statutes from WWII. Actually can also walk towards Reflections at Keppel. And if you take train, you can walk through a largely sheltered walkway with mangrove swamp (which is just behind the train station), don't walk on the road cos hot and no shelter. A lot of people do not know about this.

Then how do you go to Changi Village? You stay in the east?

Botanical garden is nice just feel it is too manicured and atas. And i prefer places with a water body.

I hv been to a small part of bedok reservoir, dont really like the vibes.

my usual route of changi village hawker, to boardwalk, cut through chalet, and continue again. thinking about exploring a couple of spooky places (not going in, just outside only).

don't be shy, say hi if you see a guy of about 173cm with cargo shorts lol.

The punggol park I'm referring to is not in Punggol. Instead it's near Buangkok mrt / Blk 401 Hougang Ave 10, It's like a smaller bedok reservoir but better

it's not near that to punggol waterfront, punggol end, coney island, punggol red bridge etc

Punggol end the spooky area with the war memorial plaque is right smack in the middle of a bustling area right?

bro, one of the beauty of changi village is how it feels at night, at least to me. not many places in singapore has that vibes, i think cos of the tall trees, the colonial houses, and lack of HDBs, and people.

i am short, but quite fit and muscular. quite easy to spot i believe :)

and walk after lunch is too hot.

i plan to eat at Changi Village about 4plus before the peak hour dinner crowd. Then start walking about 5plus so that I can catch both daylight and evening.

the transition between day and night is nice.

actually it is easy to find places to sit at cv hawker centre, the trick is to bring your food to the other hawker centre (muslim food side) which is a lot quieter.
