my base salary is about 8k/mth, but last year i was on 3/4 time (gave some half fuck reason, want to spend time with kids), this year i asked to go 1/2 time (gave more half fuck reasons, want to spend time with elderly parents)

both times got approve - moi think cause moi work there more than 10 years, easier to get approved.

today moi boss chit chat with moi (same boss for last 7 years), we know each other v well. she and my wife kawan kawan also. she told me based on my current progression, i basically very hard to progress anymore unless i purposely go up to say i want more job duties. moi also going to cap out on moi current scale in afew years time.

she said she know moi slack slack one, bo chap one. every year get C grade can liao.

guess that's it for moi. 39 year old, kenna hentak kaki liao.

i also know i'm too expensive for outside world liao.

i was thinking making a biz that offers a 'buying' service to sinkies to buy things from US then ship down to SG.

then they pay a fee for the service.

nothing to do. kenna hentak kaki here means i got no more legroom to request going on rotation to other departments. sooner or later will just be stuck in same cubical forever. can utilize the time do own side biz loh.
