How come Hakka and teochew China women can speak Cantonese fluently but my Uncle(Mother younger Brother) Singaporean teochew wife Guo LuLi cannot speak a single Hakka or single Cantonese despite marry my uncle for 48 going 49 years this year. This Singaporean teochew woman born in 21 April 1952 but cannot speak Hakka and/or Cantonese.

But how come I(1983) 31 years Younger than Singaporean teochew Guo LuLi. I can speak this 4 Chinese dialects fluently Hakka, Sze Yup, Cantonese and Hokkien. But Singaporean teochew woman Guo LuLi can only speak her own dialect which is teochew only 1 dialect despite born on 1952. I am 31 years Younger than her and I can speak 4 Chinese dialects. Hakka and Sze Yup dialects is my parents dialects. Cantonese and Hokkien I learn myself when I was 2 to 3 years old toddler.
