While I agree he was frank and candid , I feel he really heartless to ask them for 1/10th of their ask price

Nobody wants to be ripped off or scammed but as a tourist , we expect to pay some bit of premium price vs locals - true mybfd

The rip off price also isn't that big in absolute sums .. if for me , I ll bargain down cos I know the price was scammy n fraudulent but I won't bargain until I want local price level cos that bit of margin / markup is what they would earn fr a foreigner vs a local poor man

Our local attractions eg gbtb or maybe zoo .. we also charge local cheaper price than tourist : only thg is we r transparent about it

Then I must say my jialat work gives me lot of chance to learn abt them
I m blessed to have  2-3 life long friends with two
One changed job went back home for 3 mth back to sg to continue working

One migrated to Uk
