One interesting anecdotal story I have on casinos.

 Many years ago, I attended to a case of fire at the casino.  I learned from the paramedics that patient was playing at the casino for 72 hours straight before collapsing into fits.

So I just brushed it off.  Impossible.  Then I met a friend who was a croupier and said why not?  The person just sit there and gamble.  Food and drinks are delivered to the person so he doesn't even need to get up.  So I say how about peeing?  My friend say they either wear diapers or just pee where they sit.  After some hard core people get up and leave, the chairs need to be really clean cos there are menses, pee etc etc on the chair.

I remember thinking.... Wow

wu ya boh.. ppl reserve their place put handphone /etc then go toilet.

Timing I can't say cos I was mostly in the wards and emergency department and not ICU so maybe a bit of experience in corneal transplant. It's pretty fast, before the last offices are done.

Add on.  Floor nurses or nurses in charge of the patient don't do the organ transplantation.  This is to prevent conflict of interest.  There is a department that will handle that.  The department might have nurses inside but they are not involved in the care of the donor patient.

When they are not procured?  I only know those who have opted out of HOTA, infectious disease cases and police cases are not procured (coroner case) for the purpose of organ transplantation.  If you are mentioning for medical school for something, then I dunno though I know the medical school do get cadavers from somewhere

Was recently warded for couple weeks at SGH, realised that nursing really aren't easy. They got to help bed-ridden patients change diapers regularly, must be able to withstand the smell.

Ownself alr think pee n own shit doesn't mean good smell.. other ppl s shit n pee worse

Or in talk shit together with me cos I sedated also talking shit to u all.

I got vague memory something like this happened during sedation.

Many many times I went scope

Ps. All these times I went scope, by the time i regain consciousness I am already upright sitting and putting on my shoes liao. And the nurse all tell me I talking shit with them all the way from room to recovery and even when I was getting dressed up despite them telling me not to and wait. Cos I keep saying sibeh hungary want to go Macdonald eat fof recovery and lim coke after the fasting and laosai so long 24hrs. Die also dont want eat their biscuit sandwich hot drink etc.

And yes it did not cross my mind then to ask them, I only began to wonder after I makan finish my throat abit funny, and I have to walk like a duck for a few days then I started wondering, really got anot.

Serious answer.  You got some terms wrong or mixed up.

Endoscopy means nothing actually.  In just means they scope into your body cavity.  You never say you went for an endoscope.  It's meaningless. Equivalent to saying I went for surgery and no other details.

If a tube went into your throat, it's probably gastroscopy or something.  Common procedure would be OGD (oesophageal gastro duodenoscopy) to look at the esophagus, stomach and duodenum.  So yes, you might feel sore in the throat as well.  Your mouth is also forced open then so you don't bite into the scope.  And of cos since your throat is forced open, there will be a lot of secretions so there is suctioning. 

So yes, you feel discomfort in the throat post procedure but it shouldn't last.

And if it's a colonoscopy, it's a tube forced into your rectum so you might end up walking like a duck for a while also.

You are under sedation during the scope, not under general anaesthesia.  So you could be asleep or you could be semi awake.  During this time, you might be talking rubbish and hear things that may or may not actually have been said.

As for taking photos, not exactly.  But there are photos taken from the camera so that is how the doctor can show you the surgery outcome and progression during the post procedure review.

But kinky stuff?  No.  Not in Singapore at least.

When I worked in these scopes rooms. All we focused was on work. Never take photos or videos for personal use. That's just my experience can't speak for all.
