Do you believe you can be friends with someone but not colleagues?  I kind of disagree. It's like saying I can be friends with someone as long as we have not competing interests. It means your friendship is also very shallow.

But if it's a case of I can be friends with a messy person but not be a colleague to a messy person, then maybe but it kind of means you are two faced or something like that.  Behave one way in one situation and one way in another.

Here I am talking about friends rah.  Not saying you marry your colleague or friend.

Then in work he badmouthed n spun stories abt some of us to get to better position

I was young n new to work n workplaces n nv worked much before then
Since he like that I left the co

After x years he left too. I wish to say I never need to attend anyth about him but sometimes got 1-2 common friends a bit mybf have to see face to face sometimes

I no longer feel hurt or surprise or heartbroken anyth abt how he backstabbed me just for bettering own position in there but it teaches me some ppl is can be friend
