Last time I nearly bought a xiaomi phone . In the end bought Samsung

I used 3 samsung A series so far.... All good leh. Maybe A series no green line issue

I buy need flagship level soc to do stuffs efficiently. Think not risking $1k++

China rom will cause issue. Other than the compatibility issue After several updates it will make Chinese words the default. Gms default all replace by baidu mi search all these lol

Flagships are overrated in this day and age.

Midrangers are more than enough for most ppl. Couple that with sim only plans... Can save a lot

Yah, Android excluding China and Samsung OSes have fewer options. Google has already encouraged developers to use Google Play integrity for their apps for security reasons. This means that some apps, such as Singpass and MacDonald's, cannot be used on a device running on any non Google-certified Android OS.

What do you think of Apple/iphone fanboys?

I see ppl upgrade their phone yearly then buy expensive accessories for it. $50 on a screen protector, $100 on a case! For phone I can still understand cos it's fixed price, even buy from ah beng shop it's still expensive. But for accessories, a <$5 screen protector and <$5 case will do

And I wonder if they have other Mac products other than a iphone

Disclaimer: I am currently using Windows, Mac and Android. Used to own various Apple products too so I'm neutral. Parents also using iphone and ipad too so I have to "use" them sometimes too

For me, I'm a causal user thou I do use my phone for work too. To reply emails and even amend excel sheet

Samsung also has preinstalled apps that cannot be uninstalled easily. For moi I prefer the cleaner experience of iOS and Google Pixel's Android.

Mine no replaced by baidu. But still not v used to the interface a bit like tiong

Main thing is compatibility with some apps like payment or scared banking stuff
